7th and 8th Grade Dance

Dance in 7th and 8th grade is a one semester class. You can take Dance in either the Fall or Spring semester for a PE credit.  (If you audition for Cougar Dancers and are selected to be part of the team, you will be in Dance for BOTH semesters).

In Dance students will learn the same principals outlined above (for 6th grade dance) but in more depth and with a focus on intermediate/advanced techniques.

7th and 8th grade Dance classes are required to perform in the CSMS Dance Department's annual Winter and Spring shows.

You will be required to purchase appropriate dance attire for class. This includes black stretch pants, black jazz shoes, and a CSMS Dance class t-shirt.  If you were in dance during the previous school year you may use the same uniform.
